BA English Language and Literature, affiliated by bharathiar University, coimbatore. The department is equipped with valuable books, spacious classrooms and excelent infrastructure facilities. The department opens opportunities to read the writing of prolific writers in literature. Besides , the department throws light on life and the human values to the students.The Department also guides them in their co-curricular activities, especially English Literary competitions like Oratorical, Essay-writing , Verse-writing and Conducting free Communicative English Classes with hands -on training in the Communicative English Lab for the students of our college.

B.A. English Literature Programme at KCAS allows students to explore an exciting and a wide spectrum of English Literature along with learning the language and acquiring important career oriented skills.
The programme enables the students to write in lucid and logical style and also develops Independent and critical skill of judgment about a well-structured piece of literature work. The degree enables the students to become creative and critical in the reading and analyzing process of literary works and texts.
After the completion of the programme, one can do M.A. English, Mass Communication, Journalism, MSW, MBA etc.
