Kamalam College of Arts and Science is a recognized institution, established with the great efforts of Sri Kamalam Educational Trust on the auspicious day, 5^th of August, 2009 at the outskirts of Udumalpet. It is affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The College was started with the degree courses- B.Com(CA), BCA, B.Sc(CS), BBM(CA) and B.Sc(Mathematics) with the strength of 35 students.

The prime objective is to cater higher educational needs and to make the students to expose their hidden skills, knowledge, leadership qualities, personal talents and cultural interests. This prestigious institution at present offers 12 UG courses, 4 PG courses and 2 Research Programmes in Arts and Science.
